The YouTube kids app for android was created to give kids a more contained environment to watch kids’ videos and Cartoons with zero ads.

This video app for kids offers only family-friendly videos on all different topics, that your kid will enjoy without any interruption from unwanted video suggestions. Similar to the YouTube gaming app.

Using this app you can create up to eight kid profiles. Thus allowing you to manage multiple kids on a single phone. And you can select the “Approved Content Only” mode.

This mode will allow you to handpick the videos, channels, and/or collections that you’ve approved your child to watch. In this mode, kids won’t be able to search for videos.

If you are worried about your kids overwatching the mobile screen for longer hours then the Youtube Kids app has the answer for you. Using this app you set a time limit for how long your kids can watch.

And help encourage their transition from watching to doing. Simply check the watch it again page and you’ll always know what they’ve watched and the newest interests they’re exploring.

This kid’s YouTube app allows for easy blocking. Parents can block the video or a whole channel, and never see it again. And the flagging feature allows for a way to alert for inappropriate content by flagging a video for review.

Parents can set up accounts for their kids that are pre-populated with content customized for their child’s age. You can do this by selecting “Preschool” for videos geared toward kids four and under. “Younger” for kids five to seven, and “Older” to include content for kids aged 8 through 12.

Big Kids can set their own passcode to keep siblings out of their profile, but parents can override it or create it themselves. In addition to direct, kid-targeted ads, the app has whole channels dedicated to products such as Hasbro toys, Lego, and even McDonald’s. Along with lots of videos in which kids can watch someone “unbox” a wide variety of toys.
