Walk Band app is an all one virtual music instrument and a music studio app. This app offers a combination of multiple instruments such as a piano, guitar, drum, and a Bass guitar. You can easily chord progressions that come to your mind, play them in different keys all from within the app. This app will help you record and multitrack audio and synthesize your music tracks from your smartphone.

Creating Music with Walk Band

This app can’t be termed as the replacement of the real music instruments but it can definitely help you do some rehearsals. When you open the Walk Band app you are presented with a screen that lists all the instruments in the application as buttons along with a button called Records to access your previous recorded music.

Touch one of the buttons and the said instrument gets displayed on the screen. On the instrument screen, there are options to access the instrument settings. Using this option you can tube the instruments according to your requirements. For example, there is a slider above which lets you access different frets on the guitar.

In Walk Band the virtual instruments come in different modes and shapes. You can play the Piano Keyboard in Chrods Mode, Single Row Mode, or a Dual Row Mode. There is a piano-shaped button to change the sound on the top bar. You can change the sound of the instrument from Acoustic Piano to Bright Piano, MusicBox, Organ, Synth, or Rhodes.

The Guitar is presented with the strings in which you can touch on the appropriate string on the correct fret and get going. When you play on a string you can just move your finger up and down on the string to give it a modulation effect. If you touch the button on the top left of Walk Band screen you can switch between the Chords and Solo view. When you get into the Chords view you can add your own chords to the stack. And just select a chord and play the strings.

Similarly, its other instruments such as the Bass Guitar, Drum Kit, Drum Machine, and a Multitrack synthesizer offer great customization.
