More about SwiftKey Keyboard

Swiftkey Keyboard must be one of the most popular apps from Microsoft after its One Drive. This Android keyboard supports multiple languages with a quick predictive dictionary and now it comes with AI support.

It is a swipe-style keyboard that is always learning and adapting to match your unique way of typing. Including your typing dialect, slang, nicknames, and emoji choices.

Microsoft also added a new sticker generation tool that lets you create and send personalized stickers to use on popular instant messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegram.

This keyboard is capable of understanding not just patterns in your typing, but also how words work together. This makes it good at predicting not only the next letter you are going to type but also the next word, sometimes even before you begin typing it.

The keyboard app syncs your personal typing profile with the cloud. This makes it possible to have a perfectly consistent typing experience across all of your devices.

A bar at the top of the SwiftKey keyboard gives you a shortcut to pick a new theme. You can customize key arrangements and almost anything on this keyboard. You can try the Samsung keyboard as well.

Thumb Keyboard and other features of Swiftkey

SwiftKey gets Bing Image Creator shortcut, Snap-powered AI camera lenses, and AI-powered text editor and sticker generator tools. Microsoft says these features are rolling out on Android and iOS.

The thumb layout splits the keyboard into two columns so you can use each thumb to type while holding the sides of your phone.

Compact shrinks the size of each key and pulls it to one side of the screen so you can type one-handed (you can switch sides by pressing and holding the arrow that appears in this mode).

In my testing, both the thumb and compact modes made it easier to type on both a tablet and an alphabet, such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

This keyboard has almost all things packed on a single screen excluding the letters. All the letters also have other symbols of the keyboard displayed on each key.

Just long-press the letter A key to add the “@” symbol. This removes the need to open a tab to choose symbols but makes the keyboard look jammed.
