About Android Messages
The Android Messages app comes built-in in almost all Android phones that run on the Android One software update. This texting app supports sending text messages via your computer or any other device that has a browser.
With supported carriers, you can get a whole multimedia texting experience called RCS. It gives you access to messages such as sending and receiving them over Wi-Fi or your data network. Plus you will get a new design with animated emojis, photomoji, custom bubbles, and profiles.

Maybe I just hit this. Pre-existing group conversation, try to reply, get popup about going to Settings and selecting a “group MMS” option, which does not exist.
I have a LG G6 and do not like this current version of messenger (Android Messages 3.5.053). The easter egg look is very annoying to look at. Also, everyone is group text messages are all the same color now which makes it very hard to tell who is talking without looking at their name. The Dark mode is hard to tell when I get a new text message, so it is a no go as well. is there a way to go back to the older look? My wife just got a new LG G7 phone and she still has the older version.
