The Deezer app is a music streaming service that lets you browse and listen to millions of songs online. This music player app offers a vast catalog of songs which means you won’t be missing out on your favorite artists.

It’s not only music the app has all its bases covered with music, podcast, and radio content. This means you can cover all topics and entertainment services in a single app.

Deezer is available in more than 185 countries, with “more being added over time”. Like Spotify, Deezer offers a free streaming tier that allows you to shuffle through its 73-million-strong catalog of tracks – although with the free plan you get ads.

The Deezer app is easy to use and navigate, whether you’re engaging via the desktop browser, desktop app, or mobile phone app. And just like Spotify, you have to subscribe to a plan in order to use it but you do get a free subscription to check out the features.

Music curation consists of a mixture of curated and personalized playlists. You’ll find playlists organized by music genre and mood, alongside chart-based roundups. In addition, your listening habits will inform algorithmically generated playlists tailored to your tastes.

Users get ‘Basic’ and ‘Standard’, Deezer Premium plans. Subscribers get ‘High Quality’, which goes up to 320 kbps. And if you subscribe to Deezer HiFi. You get a total of four audio quality settings with the addition of ‘High Fidelity at 1411 kbps (FLAC).

Deezer’s HiFi tier does come with access to Sony’s 360 Reality Audio format, via a dedicated app. These tracks have been given the spatial audio treatment.

The mobile app offers a minimal UI. With the sidebar moved to the bottom of the screen; playing a song will bring the playback bar into full-screen.

Where you can adjust the audio, set a sleep timer (handy, if you fall asleep to your music and don’t want it playing all night long). And a Share button, which comes with the option to share your music as an Instagram Story.
