You can attack thousands of players’ bases and defeat thier defenses for those resources. But beware as your base can be destroyed if you don’t build strong defenses.

Clash of Kings: The West starts off with a tutorial that guides you with city-building skills. Including resource collection troop training, and defensive structure building basics. Once you get a hang of things you will then start constructing your city in real-time under the threat of enemy invasion at all times of the day and night.

That is why it is advised that you join an alliance that includes strong players as soon as possible. As they can offer help with construction times, join in NPC battle events, and fight other Alliances. Along with pillaging enemy player bases. And don’t forget to focus on your hero who will act like a general.

Once you get the base and your army underway in Clash of Kings: The West. Then it would be time to set up the research facilities. Such as a college and pick from four research trees to focus on. In the research college, players can enhance City Development, Resources, City Defense, and Military branches.

And like Clash of Kings: The West’s original version you have a large map to scout and explore which enables you to pick opponents based on your armies level and attack them for resources.
