With the Call recorder app, you can easily capture and save recordings to your SD card, and playback recordings. The settings are pretty easy to understand. Most of the stuff is on or off with little customization.

You can also set it to manually capture calls with a hotkey if you need to. It also functions as a voice recorder in case you need to record a normal conversation or a song. The app boasts support for all phones with Android 11 down to Android 5.0.

This call recorder app also has an exclusion list so you don’t record every single call. Or at least add contacts for which you don’t want to capture calls.

Setting a record source is also possible as you can set a Mic, voice, or a video camera as the sound source for voice capturing.

Do keep in mind that the App accesses the contacts on the phone in order to display the contacts that were recorded. And so the App can record or ignore calls from specific contacts.

The developer of the app says that the contact information is NOT transmitted nor stored on any server. Plus the free version of this Android Application includes some ads displayed with Google Admob.
