Bixby Home is Samsung’s official virtual assistant that works on its range of smart devices. These devices include smartphones, tablets, and specific smart home appliances.

It works with your favorite apps and services to help you get more done. You can use it to quickly see information about the weather, reminders, and more.

Apart from that you can easily Edit pictures, compose emails, and send messages on command.  You can do most of your tasks by voice commands.

Bixby’s voice-powered digital assistant represents a major reboot for S Voice. You can use voice, text, or touch to say what you need since it understands all three. When you’re lost for words, open the camera and Bixby will search for you.

Things You Can Do with Bixby Home

Application permissions discover and pair Bluetooth devices. Access the vibration feature. Read or write external storage. Access information about networks, the camera device, and Wi-Fi networks. Read or write system settings.

Allows an application to receive messages via Google Cloud Messaging. Stay relaxed at home use Bixby to set timers, change TV channels, and control your smart home devices which is very identical to Google Assistant.

Swipe your home screen to the right to quickly find what you’re looking for. In a single tap, you’ll see upcoming appointments, today’s photos, tomorrow’s weather, and more.

Just relax and let Bixby do the work for you. Let Bixby make your driving more convenient. Ask Bixby to pick up calls, send messages, or connect to Bluetooth while driving.

Open it using your favorite File manager and install it by tapping on the file name.

If the installation does not start then you need to enable unknown sources from your Android settings.

Google has also developed its assistant called Google Assistant. Bixby Home mostly works with Samsung devices but Google Assistant works on all devices running Android.
