Once you download this app by clicking on the download button then it’s up to the IT department of your company to give you relevant access to the relevant tools. Your administrator can set up your Android Device Policy. They have the authority to manage Device password strength and length.
They can easily do Application auditing and Remote account removal from a device. And in case of theft or losing your device, contact your IT admin to Remote wipe a device. The basic purpose of the Device Policy app is to maintain and secure your mobile phone that holds all the official data and protects it from breaches.
Using the Android Device Policy your administrator can also configure Wi-Fi networks and manage network access certificates using the app. They might choose to hide a network’s details so that only users who have the network name and password can connect to it. When you open the Device Policy app it will take you to the Status screen.
To view the Policies or Messages screen on Android Device Policy, swipe from the left to select the screen that you want to view. Easily access the My Devices page to ring, lock, and locate your device as well as reset your screen-lock PIN. You can also remotely wipe your device if your administrator has enabled remote wipe for users.
You can view the list of details about your device that are shared with your administrators, such as device policy app version, device OS version, device model, and your email address.
